![]() ![]() ![]() For example, I use discord with my friends but don't want to stream our personal lives on twitch - Voicemeeter can send my friends' voices to me only and not OBS. ![]() The advantage is being able to split your audio streams. Note: If you don't use VoiceMeeter already, it will handle your system audio after this. (I'm sure any broadcast software will work from this, but OBS is what I use.) I've only tested this so far on the 2i2 listed below, but you can easily modify this to with any ASIO device or other sound input running through VoiceMeeter. Running the following off Windows 7 potato. No crackling output, clean input, no lag (when my old cable sits properly anyways, this won't fix any buzzing from a bad cable or pickups). Using the following setup I now have good sound on PC and on Twitch. Place it into your RS directory and see if your issues are the same. This one took me approximately 2 days to figure out. Use your preferred search engine and find the D3DX9_42.dll and download it. When you do an integrity check, it should be telling you that it found one file missing, (or at least one file). Operating system : Microsoft Windows 10 Home Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU 3.40GHz, 3401 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) dll files I have are : bink2w32.dll - steam_api.dll - steamdetection.dll and uplay_r1_loader.dll. If this is still not resolved and you did what was mentioned above, then I'll need your pc specs. I'll wait to hear back from you about this. However, if you had removed that entire directory or deleted it as I had mentioned above, then a complete download should have resolved this issue as well.īe sure that you've done this as MTZigg and I mentioned as it's the most likely culprit. You don't see the file "D3DX9_42.dll"? That's the one MTZigg was referring to and is the one to remove and redownload from an integrity check. dll files, dont know what they are for, I tried deleting them, still the same issue, so i reinstalled the game for like the 8th time now. There are no usb devices that has been added or software since I last played the Yes, tones of I dont have any dx 9dll file. Originally posted by John Running in safe mode works, but its kind of laggy. This could possibly be from drivers of other devices or devices themselves. If this does not resolve the issue we may have to look at possible conflicts. Make sure you remove any other usb devices as mentioned above. The dlcs you paid for will be reinstalled. The default directory being: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rocksmith2014\dlcĪnd then redownload. If it were me, I'd remove the dlc folder, (either by moving it out of that directory or deleting it). Leaving that folder there would have reinstalled over it and still be having that issue. If you're using the default directory for installation each time when you reinstall. Ok, then I believe you still have some CDLC's or a corrupted dlc, (either a particular CDLC that's causing the issue or possibly a corrupted dlc file), in your library. So I tried launching it and still the same MeatBall Yes I did. Originally posted by John So I already tried reinstalling the game about 6 times now, also verified the integrity a couple of times, but this time, it says that 4 files are missing and will be recovered. Not because of this, but just because things happen. Whichever works, make sure you periodically back up your RS game directory so that you won't lose everything should something fail later on down the line. Hopefully it won't come to this since we don't want to lose your progress. After the download, see if your issue is resolved. You could temporarily rename your RS folder to an alternate name so that you still have it and can always replace the newly downloaded files. If it doesn't, then you may need to redownload the RS file. If it does, then congrats and be careful of those CDLCs. Right click it, click properties, local files, and verify the intergrity. Go to your RS Lib file via the steam client. This should resolve it so lets keep our fingers crossed. Im really starting to think I would never be able to play it again, I only played for 24h :( lol I removed all my CDLC's after the first time I had this issue, already did the things you told me execpt for renaming the. I deleted my anti-virus already, all I have is Windows Defender, tried to launch the game after disabling it, still nothing. Originally posted by John Yes it occurs everytime I try to launch the game, I get a black screen for a couple seconds then it says Rocksmith.exe stopped working. ![]()
